World Cup Trading Tournament

$1,500 in prizes. Free entry. June 13 to July 19.

$1,500 in prizes. Free entry. Best verified P&L wins.

The Ryno World Cup Trading Tournament runs alongside the 2026 World Cup. Ryno traders post their picks, build a verified track record in front of everyone, and the most profitable trader takes home $1,000. Every pick is timestamped and immutable. No screenshots, no cherry-picking, no "trust me." Just receipts.

The Basics

  • Prizes: $1,500 total. $1,000 to the top of the trading leaderboard, $500 to the top referrer (see Referral Prize below).
  • Entry: Free. No purchase or subscription required to compete.
  • Window: June 13, 2026 (12:00 AM ET) through July 19, 2026 (final whistle of the World Cup final).
  • Who can enter: Approved Ryno traders age 18+ who post qualifying signals during the window. One entry per trader. Want in? Apply to become a trader at traderyno.com. Trader onboarding is free.
  • Sponsor: TradeRyno Inc. (d/b/a Ryno).

How Scoring Works

Every signal is scored as a 1-unit stake, no matter what you actually wagered. Your tournament score is your total net units won across all qualifying signals. Unit math works like the market does:

  • A 1-unit YES at 25 cents that wins returns +3.0 units
  • A 1-unit YES at 80 cents that wins returns +0.25 units
  • Any losing signal scores -1.0 unit
  • NO positions are scored the same way, based on the NO price at signal time

Longshots pay more and miss more. Favorites pay less and hit more. Flat staking keeps it fair. Your edge is what you pick, not what you risk.

The Rules That Keep It Honest

  1. Every qualifying signal counts. You cannot choose which picks enter the tournament. All signals you post on qualifying markets during the window are automatically scored, wins and losses. This is the whole point of Ryno.
  2. Minimum 10 signals to qualify. You can't win on one lucky moonshot. Fewer than 10 qualifying signals by the end of the window means you're not eligible for the prize, regardless of score.
  3. Maximum 5 counted signals per match day. If you post more than 5 in a day, your first 5 by timestamp count. Pick your spots.
  4. Signals must be posted before the relevant match or event begins. Anything posted after the underlying event has started doesn't count.

Qualifying Markets

World Cup related markets on Kalshi and Polymarket as listed on Ryno, including match outcomes, group winners, advancement, and tournament futures. If a market isn't tracked on Ryno, it can't be scored and doesn't count.

Tiebreaks

Final standings lock after the last qualifying market resolves. Tiebreaks, in order:

  1. Higher ROI (net units won divided by total qualifying signals)
  2. Earliest timestamp at which the final winning score was reached

Referral Prize: $500

A separate $500 prize goes to the trader who refers the most new traders to Ryno during the tournament window. A referral counts only if the new trader:

  1. Names you as their referrer when they apply (referrals cannot be claimed or reassigned after application)
  2. Is approved as a Ryno trader
  3. Completes identity verification
  4. Posts at least 5 qualifying signals during the tournament window

Tiebreak: the referrer whose qualifying referrals were completed earliest wins. Referring fake, duplicate, or coordinated accounts disqualifies you from both prizes. The same trader can win both the trading prize and the referral prize.

Prize and Payment

  • $1,000 to the trading leaderboard winner; $500 to the referral winner; paid within 7 days of final standings.
  • Payment via Stripe payout or USDC, winner's choice.
  • Winners must have completed identity verification to be paid. No verification, no payout. The prize then passes to the next eligible finisher.
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes on prizes. US winners will receive a Form 1099 where required.

Integrity

All Ryno Terms of Service and Trader Agreement conduct rules apply. The following result in disqualification:

  • Multiple accounts or coordinated entries
  • Signals based on material non-public information
  • Market manipulation, wash trading, or any conduct prohibited by exchange rules or applicable law
  • Any attempt to game scoring mechanics

Ryno's published P&L calculations and tournament scoring are final. Ryno may correct demonstrable data errors and will maintain an audit trail of any correction.

The Fine Print

This is a skill-based competition for approved Ryno traders. Entry is free; becoming a Ryno trader is free; no purchase is necessary, and a purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law. Ryno may amend these rules before the window opens or cancel the tournament for technical or legal reasons, with notice on this page. This tournament is organized by TradeRyno Inc. and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any national team, federation, or broadcaster. Trading involves risk.
